What is the purpose of an account?
Your customer account is your personal and professional space.
With it, you can:
  • Manage your professional information
  • Simulate an order (calculate shipping costs and total amount)
  • Place orders
  • View the details of your orders
  • Track your packages
  • Contact the seller in case of issues with your order
  • Contact Spare-Place in case of issues with the seller
  • Download a proof of purchase
  • Request an invoice

User Profile (Read-only)
This profile allows:
  • To view offers
  • To set alerts for desired products

This profile does not allow:
  • To purchase products
  • To sell products

Your profile must be completed to 30%:
To do more, you will need to complete your profile with required information, such as your company's bank details, its SIRET number...
Buyer, Seller Profile (Business Friendly)
This profile allows:
  • To view offers
  • To set alerts for desired products
  • To purchase industrial spare parts
  • To sell industrial spare parts

This profile does not allow:
  • To have a personal storefront, a shop in your colors
  • To manage multiple listings simultaneously

Your profile must be completed to 100%:
Profile completed to 100%, including SIRET, bank details...
Reseller Profile (Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger)
This profile allows:
  • To view offers
  • To set alerts for desired products
  • To purchase industrial spare parts
  • To sell industrial spare parts
  • To manage multiple listings and documents simultaneously
  • Advanced sales statistics and comprehensive dashboard

This profile does not restrict:
  • Anything, you have access to 100% of the functionalities we have developed to date

Your profile must be completed to 100%:
including SIRET, bank details...
How to Complete?
To complete your professional profile, you must fill in the requested information:

This completes 30% of your account information and gives you access to the user profile (to which you already have access by entering 0% of your information)

Once validated within 24 to 48 business hours, you will have completed 100% of your professional account information and can buy and sell, thus accessing the “Buyer, Seller” profile.
To access this profile, we ask you to provide the following documents:
  • APE code
  • KBis extract
  • URSSAF certificate

What Products?
All electrical control components or automation components considered as spare parts in the industrial sector.
I received my PLC and it's already programmed, what should I do?
Whether programmed or not, it's the same process. You will need to inject the new program that will overwrite the old one.
My product arrived broken, what should I do?
Contact us through your customer account, from your personal space, by opening a dispute.
Upon receiving your request, we will verify with the seller the cause of the damage. We will determine responsibilities to take appropriate action.
If it's the seller's fault, we will discuss the best solution with you:
  • Return the product in the condition it was received as per your order
  • Refund your order

If it's the carrier's fault, they will need to activate their insurance and you will be reimbursed by the seller.
What do the product conditions mean?
We have defined 5 conditions, justified by the product description and shown in related photos.
  • New in original packaging: the product has never been used. It remains in its original state, including packaging.
  • New but not in original packaging: the product has never been used, but has been unpacked. It no longer has its original packaging.
  • Used: the product has been used before. It is in perfect working condition. The external appearance and aesthetics of the product may vary.
  • Reconditioned: the product has been serviced, and worn parts have been replaced. The external appearance and aesthetics of the product may vary.
  • Does not work: the product no longer functions.

It is sold for repair or for its functional spare parts.
I can't find the reference I'm looking for, what should I do?
If you can't find the reference you're looking for, you have two options:
You can set an alert in your personal space (HOW TO DO THIS?)
You will be notified as soon as the product becomes available.

What Products?

I have a PLC and it's already programmed, what should I do?

I have an obsolete product, can it still be used?
All obsolete products can still be used.
Before putting it up for sale, you just need to check its condition.
Then clearly indicate its condition in the description of your listing.
I have a broken product, can I sell it?
Yes, you can sell it.
You just need to specify its condition among the 5 conditions below.
Also, mention that it's broken in the product description and in any accompanying photos.
  • New in original packaging: the product has never been used. It remains in its original state, including packaging.
  • New but not in original packaging: the product has never been used, but has been unpacked. It no longer has its original packaging.

How to sell my stock?
This operation takes place in 3 steps:
  • Send us the list of your immobilized industrial spare parts (unused or stored).
  • You will receive a buy-back proposal.
  • Once our proposal is accepted, we will place an order with you as soon as possible.
My stock is very old, can I still sell it?
YES! The older, the more in demand by our customers!
You can certainly sell it safely as it is.
However, you must specify the condition of each product, using descriptions and photos.

All products you purchase on Spare-Place.com are guaranteed for a minimum of 3 months by our sellers and resellers.
This warranty can be extended up to 24 months depending on the type and condition of the product.

PAYMENT

Accepted payment methods, terms, and security.

What payment methods are accepted?
Accepted payment methods are:
  • Bank cards
  • Bank transfers
  • SEPA direct debits
  • PayPal
I have an issue with my payment method, how can I change it?
  • Everything is editable from your space.
  • You can change your payment method whenever you want.
  • However, processing and verification times by the Stripe payment provider must be taken into account.
  • Other documents may be requested to verify that you have all the authorizations and skills you need, which have been given to you by your employer.
What are the terms for payment by credit card?
  • By using the payment method by CB (credit card), you authorize your bank to make an immediate payment from the bank account of your company, to the (re)seller, corresponding to the amount of your order.
  • This amount is debited immediately.
  • It is recommended for one-time orders.
  • Payment is made through the Stripe payment provider.
  • The amount is retained in an account created by Stripe for this purpose.
  • You have 14 days to acknowledge receipt of the product and confirm its conformity.
  • Beyond this date, and without news from the buyer, EcoSpare considers that the transaction has passed, and closes the order by assigning it the status « completed ».
  • As a result, EcoSpare makes payment to the (re)seller.

How do I choose the payment method by credit card?
The choice of payment method is made during your order, you validate your cart, then select the delivery and billing information.
Then you choose a « Payment Mode ».
To pay by transfer, select « Bank Card ».
How do you pay by credit card?
  • Take the card from the bank account issuer of the payment (or all of its card numbers, its expiry date and its security code).
  • Access your cart to validate your order.
  • Then click on « Confirm ».
  • Enter the delivery, billing information, or select one of your usual addresses.
  • Choose a « Payment Mode », select « Credit Card ».
  • Enter its card numbers, its expiry date and its security code.
  • Check the noted information.
  • Click on « Pay », you will be redirected to your bank's website to validate the secure payment.
What are the terms for payment by bank transfer?
  • By using the payment method by bank transfer, you trigger a single payment from the bank account of your company to the seller or reseller (the creditor), corresponding to the amount of your order.
  • This amount is debited immediately, upon the first deal.
  • Subsequently, payment can switch to 30 calendar days.
  • It is recommended for one-time orders when you do not have a bank card for the company account concerned.
  • The transfer is made through the Stripe payment provider.
  • The amount is retained in an account created by Stripe for this purpose.
  • You have 14 days to acknowledge receipt of the product and confirm its conformity.
  • Beyond this date, and without news from the buyer, EcoSpare considers that the transaction has passed, and closes the order by assigning it the status «completed».
  • As a result, EcoSpare makes payment to the (re)seller.

  • Enter the IBAN and BIC (which you previously obtained)
  • Check the noted information
  • Send!

We validate this information within 24 to 48 hours.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Rates, deadlines, for how much?

What delivery methods are available?
Sellers/resellers can use all types of carriers (DHL, TNT, UPS, Colissimo, Mondial Relay, ...). Their deadlines vary between 1 to 5 working days.
They allow you to track your parcels in real time, directly on their websites using the tracking number sent to you at the time of shipment by the seller/reseller.
What delivery times are offered?
Delivery can be from 1 to 5 working days.
Three delivery options are offered:
  • Economic delivery: like Mondial Relay or similar in 2/5 working days
  • Standard delivery: like Colissimo or similar in 1/2 working days
  • Express delivery: like Chronopost, DHL, UPS, TNT or similar in 1 working day
What are the rates?
Rates are set by the sellers/resellers when they list their products for sale. They vary depending on the weight of the product and the chosen delivery method. Shipping costs may be waived by the most generous.
